Invitation to the Hands-on Workshop: SciML and Agentic QSP Workflows in Pumas
数理薬理シンポジウム直前の2日間（7月29日（水）〜30日（木））、サテライト企画のハンズオンワークショップを、北里大学 白金キャンパスで開催します。
分子生物学と臨床薬理学を繋ぐ Quantitative Systems Pharmacology（QSP）をさらに進化させる鍵は、最先端の科学的機械学習（Scientific Machine Learning: SciML）、生成モデリング、エージェント型 AI の融合にあります。
本ワークショップは、PumasAI がこれまで開催してきた「ウイルス動態」や「in-silico 臨床試験」の知見をさらに発展させた最新プログラムです。Pumas エコシステム内ですべて完結する、生データから再現可能な成果物作成までの「一連のハンズオンワークフロー」を2日間で完全マスターします。次世代の創薬モデリングを体感し、実務を一歩先へ進める絶好の機会です。皆様のご参加をお待ちしております。

A hands-on workshop will be held as a satellite event at Shirokane Campus of Kitasato University over the two days immediately preceding the Mathematical Pharmacology Symposium, from Wednesday, July 29 to Thursday, July 30.
Quantitative Systems Pharmacology (QSP) has long bridged molecular biology and clinical pharmacology, enabling mechanistic modeling of complex disease and drug action. This workshop pushes that bridge forward by integrating QSP with the latest advances in scientific machine learning (SciML), generative modeling, and agentic AI — all within the Pumas ecosystem.
Building on PumasAI's prior workshops on viral dynamics and in-silico clinical trials, this session unifies three threads into a single, hands-on modeling workflow that takes participants from raw data to a complete, reproducible deliverable. This is an excellent opportunity to experience next-generation drug discovery modeling and take your practice one step further. We look forward to your participation.

Workshop Announcement: “A New Era for MIDD Opened by the ICH M15 Guideline” (IQ Japan Subteam)
数理薬理シンポジウム前日（7月30日（木））に連帯企画としてIQ Japan Subteam 主催のワークショップがファイザー株式会社（新宿、東京）の会議室をお借りして開催されることになりました（企画協力：PMDA、日本製薬工業協会、参加費無料）。
本ワークショップは「ICH M15ガイドラインが拓くMIDDの未来」と題し、ICH M15ガイドライン（現在Step4）の実装を見据えた講演に加え、Model Credibility評価のグループワーク（対面）を通じてM15実装時の実務的な対応を体感し、円滑な実装を支援することを目指します。

Expert Sessionのグループワークにつきましては、参加登録期間終了後、登録者の方に詳細と事前課題をご案内いたします。参加者は60名程度を予定しているため、PMDAからのご参加を除き、各団体につき2名程度のご参加でお願いいたします。
On the day before the symposium (Thursday, July 30, 2026), an affiliated workshop organized by IQ Japan Subteam will be held in meeting rooms at Pfizer Japan Inc. (Shinjuku, Tokyo), with planning support from PMDA and the Japan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association. Participation is free of charge.
Titled “A New Era for MIDD Opened by the ICH M15 Guideline,” the workshop combines lectures on implementing the ICH M15 Guideline (currently at Step 4) with in-person group work on Model Credibility assessment, aiming to help participants experience practical responses for smooth implementation.

Pharmacometrics plays a pivotal role in drug development and clinical decision-making by quantifying the relationships among dosing, efficacy, and safety. This symposium brings together experts in pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, systems biology, statistics, and medicine to explore how mathematical modeling and data science are shaping next-generation therapeutics.
We will highlight breakthroughs such as virtual patients and populations, in silico clinical trials, biomarker discovery, and AI-enabled modeling that shorten development timelines. The program fosters dialogue between academia and industry to tackle shared challenges and ignite collaborative innovation.
