医薬品開発や臨床現場では、薬効や副作用と用法・用量の関係を定量化するファーマコメトリクスが欠かせません。本シンポジウムでは、薬物動態学・薬力学・生物統計学・医学など多様な専門知識を基盤に、数理モデルとデータサイエンスを融合した最先端研究を共有します。
バーチャルペイシェントやバーチャルポピュレーションを活用した仮想臨床試験、AI を含む数理科学技術による新薬開発の効率化を中心に、医薬品開発と臨床応用の新たな可能性を議論します。アカデミアと企業の壁を超えた対話で共通課題に挑む、協働の場を目指します。
Pharmacometrics plays a pivotal role in drug development and clinical decision-making by quantifying the relationships among dosing, efficacy, and safety. This symposium brings together experts in pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, systems biology, statistics, and medicine to explore how mathematical modeling and data science are shaping next-generation therapeutics.
We will highlight breakthroughs such as virtual patients and populations, in silico clinical trials, biomarker discovery, and AI-enabled modeling that shorten development timelines. The program fosters dialogue between academia and industry to tackle shared challenges and ignite collaborative innovation.
